THOMAS J. TAYLOR

Tom Taylor has been practicing law in the Thurston County area for over 40 years. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Taylor served as a law clerk for the Washington State Supreme Court and as Chief Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Thurston County. Mr. Taylor also served as Tumwater City Attorney and legal counsel for Intercity Transit. Mr. Taylor’s law practice emphasizes: Wills and Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate, Business and Commercial, and Personal Injury. He has extensive training and experience in these areas. Mr. Taylor has successfully represented thousands of diverse clients, including businesses (large and small, retail and wholesale, service and professional), churches, contractors, corporations, doctors and healthcare professionals, governmental agencies, homeowner associations, individuals, landlords, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, partnerships, professionals, realtors, senior citizens, service organizations, tenants, unions, and many others.

Mr. Taylor has been a member of, and served on the boards of, community service, sports and business organizations and associations, including school, charities and church. He is a charter member of the Olympia Mountaineers and the Tumwater Chamber of Commerce. Tom is proud of his service in the Boy Scouts and to be an Eagle Scout. Tom and his wife, Margie, have raised four children in the Tumwater area and schools. They have twelve grandchildren.

Mr. Taylor is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Thurston County Bar Association, Southwest Washington Estate Planning Council, the WSBA Real Estate Trust & Probate Section, and the former Washington State Trial Lawyers’ Association. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as local, state and federal courts. He represents clients in Thurston, Mason, Lewis and Grays Harbor Counties.

Gina Bissell has been practicing law in Thurston County since 1992. Her practice emphasizes Family Law, Adoptions and Wills. Family Law includes: Dissolutions of Marriage, Modifications, Child Support, Parenting Plans, Non-Parental Custody, Prenuptial Agreements, and other family law matters.

Ms. Bissell has trained as a collaborative lawyer and has an excellent record for obtaining successful results for her clients. She has served as the president of the Capitol Chapter of the Washington Women’s Law Association.

Gina Bissell is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Thurston County Bar Association, and state and family law sections. She is admitted to practice in local, state and federal courts. She represents clients in Thurston, Mason, Pierce and Lewis Counties.

MICHAEL L. DEWITT

Michael DeWitt has been practicing family law in Washington since he was admitted in 2001. While his practice emphasizes family law, Mr. DeWitt also represents clients in guardianship and estate planning matters. His family law practice includes dissolution of marriage/legal separations, parenting plans and/or child support modifications, adoptions, and domestic violence matters. Mr. DeWitt has trained in collaborative law and serves as a Title 11 Guardian ad Litem and he is available for adoption home study investigations.

Mr. DeWitt is a member of the Family Law Section of both the state and local bar associations. He served as the Greater Olympia trustee for the Washington State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division, trustee for the Mason County Bar Association, and board member of the Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services, including vice-president. He was named as a Rising Star by Washington law Politics in 2005, 2006 and 2011. He was named the TCVLS Pro Bono Attorney of the Year in 2007 and received the WSBA’s Local Hero Award in 2009. Mr. DeWitt has given numerous informational and educational presentations to local attorneys. Mr. DeWitt provides quality legal services for a reasonable fee. He offers flexible fee arrangements for those in need, to include “unbundled legal services” and the WSBA Moderate Means Program.

ANDREW P. MAZZEO

Andrew (Drew) Mazzeo graduated Cum Laude from law school and served on the school Law Review. Before entering the practice of law, Mr. Mazzeo served multiple externships, clerking for a federal district judge, a state appellate judge, and a state trial court judge. Mr. Mazzeo worked as a Constitutional Law Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona, for the Goldwater Institute, where he assisted in drafting appeals to the United States Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mazzeo’s law practice includes: Business and Contract Law, Real Estate, Estate Planning, Probate, Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, and Appeals.

Mr. Mazzeo is admitted to practice in the Federal Court in the Western District Court of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as local and state courts.
